Dear Folks,

Just a note to let you know I have arrived safely - at least in sight of land. By tomorrow I should have my feet firmly planted on good old mother earth again, not that I hate the boat - I just don’t like it. Not once have I been seasick although I did have a dull headache all of one day. Maybe I can celebrate Christmas Eve and Day on land -I’ll be thinking of you, anyhow, and hoping you are enjoying it as I wish I could.

My APO. will be changed when I reach my new post but any mail sent to the present address will reach me. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
