Happy New Year!
As promised at the last family reunion (August 1998) we would like to invite you and your family to the 2000 Baustian Family Reunion to be held the weekend of August 11th, 12th, and 13th 2000 at Paul and Deb’s farm in Fosston. For those of you that were at the reunion in ‘98 we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. We hope everyone will be able to return again and try to encourage someone who was unable to attend last time to come this year.
We will have a bonfire on Friday evening for an ice breaker (you bring the ice). The main event will be on Saturday serving roast pork about 2:00 p.m. (we are going whole hog on this one). The weekend will end with a brunch on Sunday (the rest of the pig and cackleberries will be served). Please bring a dish to share on Saturday. Coolers and a refrigerator are available. You can also use our kitchen to prepare any items. We will supply plates, forks, cups etc. We will take donations to help cover the cost for the tent rental and pork We plan on having a large tent again this year if the forecast is for rain.
We have a lot of room for families to set up tents or campers. We enjoy having campers at our place. There is also a very nice motel in Fosston- Super 8 (218-435-1088). If you are able to join us this year please call and let us know so we have an idea of how many to plan for. Hope to see you. Plan to come and join the fun and don’t forget your cameras.
