USFWS Estimated Waterfowl Harvest Data 1960-2001
I have created this web page to shed some light on estimated waterfowl harvest statistics compiled by the USFWS. I was unable to find this information on any other web site. Then I discovered that Tom Jes had the numbers I was looking for. He had meticulously compiled them into a spreadsheet from USFWS reports. He was willing to share that information with me and I have compiled it into some charts and graphs that I hope you will find useful. I have added 2001 preliminary harvest data.
Something that is very noticeable when you look at all flyways is that fewer hunters are shooting more ducks than ever. These are the good old days.
