My Picture Page

Below are some links to my different picture pages. I have always had a 35 mm camera but digital has made taking pictures economical. I started out with a Nikon Coolpix 950. It was a first generation point and shoot and it took some great pictures, especially in the macro mode. I then inherited an Olympus C 700 which was Ok but not as good as the Nikon. Once I heard the Nikon D70 was coming out I waited for it to hit the street. I got it with the kit lens (28-70mm) and added a cheap 70-300 to lens to the camera bag. The telephoto got me into photographing ducks in the spring. It did an adequate job but I wanted something faster and better. I finally bit the bullet and bought the Nikon Zoom Telephoto AF VR Zoom Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8D G-AFS ED-IF Autofocus Lens. I also purchased the Nikon TC-14E 1.4x II Teleconverter. I am learning how to use it now and get the most out of it and the D70. Below are links to some of my picture galleries.
