On February 3, 1998 our house burned down. We had a plumbing leak that cause the carpets in our lower level to get soaked. We were using some fans and heaters to dry it out and while we were away one of them must have caught on fire. It destroyed almost everything we had except a few things in the garage. Fortunately, some of our pictures miraculously survived although they were badly damaged. The pictures were in a box on the floor right were the fire started. We found most of them frozen into the snow and ice in the back yard. Some were burned and badly water damaged but we were able salvage parts of most pictures. Some of the pictures on this site that are cropped or of poor quality are probably from the fire.
